SHEA VINEYARD

Shea Vineyard, located in the Yamhill-Carlton sub-AVA just over the hill from our Estate Vineyard, is commonly known as an Oregon “Grand Cru” site. The vines perch in sedimentary soil over fractured sandstone. We began sourcing our first Shea Vineyard block in 2002, and produced only 25 cases. We continue to add new blocks each year, currently sourcing from seven blocks of Pinot Noir with clones 777, 114, Pommard, and Wädenswil, which consistently provide a signature spice and structure to the wine.
