The Yamhill-Carlton AVA has the warmest growing season of all Willamette Valley sub-AVAs. As a result, Pinot Noir from here tends to be fuller bodied with ripe fruit and earthy flavors. This Pinot Noir starts off with maraschino cherry and warm vanilla bean flavors, progresses to Alpine flower notes, and ends in a sweet finish of strawberry cream and brown sugar. Match this with crème brûlée for a heavenly pairing.
