Description
As much as we love Chardonnay—and we love it a whole bunch—it’s fun to try other white varietal wines like this Viognier. Penner-Ash sources the fruit from warmer growing sites in southern Oregon, then ages the wine in a combination of stainless steel and concrete egg to preserve its floral aromatics and citrusy, stone fruit flavors, while adding texture and minerality. If you could bottle Oregon’s fresh and delicate springtime in a bottle, this would be it.
