Deck the Halls with the Dundee Hills Duo
Often referred to as the epicenter of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, the Dundee Hills sub-AVA features moisture-holding red Jory soils and a warm summer climate that combine to produce wines with perfumed red fruit and fruit-forward texture. We source a diverse clonal variety of Pinot Noir fruit from both the Élevée Vineyard and Bella Vida Vineyard here to create our signature lush, layered style.
2018 Élevée Vineyard Pinot Noir
Planted in 1998, the Élevée Vineyard is rooted in Jory soil, which lends a sweet textured palate with red fruit and spice to the wines. This vintage opens with perfumed brown sugar, raspberry tea, and dark dense wine-soaked cherries that lead you to underlying hints of allspice and anise. On the palate, sweet bramble, juicy currants, earl grey and crisp plum intertwine with violet and rose, culminating in a fresh finish.
2019 Bella Vida Vineyard Pinot Noir
Bella Vida’s red Jory soils impart red, lush fruit to our wines. The clones we select from this vineyard each add something special too, whether sweet blackberry and spice, or black cherry perfume. The 2019 vintage bursts with dark, dense fruit aromas that transition to a round, mid-palate of cherry cola, juicy plum, and sweet earth en route to an elegant, intense finish. This wine begs to be in your après-ski or any après-adventure lineup.
