Melinda Hunt

Raised on the Oregon Coast, Melinda was surrounded by fresh food and local wine, where she got a taste of Oregon's best at a young age. Her interest in food and wine culture is what brought her to Penner-Ash Wine Cellars.
 
She attended Portland State University, where she earned a Bachelor degree with honors in Women's Studies. While pursuing her degree, she worked for several non-profit organizations, where she gained experience in administrative support, community organizing and development, research and fundraising.

With a thirst for knowledge and a passion for working with people, Melinda shifted her focus to the wine industry with enthusiasm, when she joined the Penner-Ash Team. When she is not planning and organizing for the next Cellar Club release or answering customer inquiries, you might find her assisting customers in the tasting room.

Outside of Penner-Ash, her interests include exploring the dynamic food scene, attending concerts, rooting on the Oregon Ducks, or reading a good book with a view of the ocean.
